10/13/17 Eagle Alert: Suspicious Person

Between 9:30 and 10 a.m., two females were approached in separate incidents. The suspect followed one female until she went in the Russell Union to avoid the suspect. The second female was approached near her car. The suspect attempted to enter the vehicle and grab the female by the arm.

The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male in his mid-twenties with short hair or bald. He was wearing a dark shirt with horizontal stripes.

UPDATE: Oct. 13, 3:35 p.m.

Earlier today, there were reports of a suspicious person on campus in the area of the Russell Union parking lot. The suspect is described as a heavy-set black male in his mid-twenties with short hair or bald. He was wearing a dark shirt with multi-colored stripes, possibly wearing dark colored pants.

He attempted to make contact with several females by following them. He opened the car door and grabbed the arm of one female. None of the women were harmed during these incidents.

Officers responded immediately and searched campus and surrounding areas for anyone matching this description but no one has been located.
